André Soares (1720-1769) was the greatest artist of the Portuguese Rococo and late-Baroque. Some of his works must be included among the best that was made in the Europe of his time.

After disclosure of the results of the Stimulus of Scientific Employment, Individual Support 2018 Call, ARTIS-IHA welcomes two researchers whose applications were approved within the eighteen contracts awarded to the School of Arts and Humanities.

The two researchers are: 

Organized by the Faculty of Fine Arts in conjunction with the Rectory and other ULisboa Schools, the II Meeting "The University of Lisbon and Heritage" will be held from 27 to 30 November 2019.

On November 30, session 11 will be moderated by the ARTIS-IHA researcher Ana Mehnert Pascoal, session in which Alexandre Nobre Pais and Alexandra Gago da Câmara will participated, among others.
