The ARTIS - Art History Institute (FLUL) newsletter (#05/2023 | July) is now available online.

The government approved on June 22nd the classification of the building complex of the University of Lisbon as a national monument.

Vitor Serrão, professor at ARTIS - Art History Institute (FLUL), will deliver on June 27th at 5 pm, in the Cultural Centre of Belém (next to the Jerónimos Monastery), a talk entitled "From Rome to Lisbon: Lourenço de Salzedo and the main altar of the Jerónimos Monastery (1570-1572)". The lecture is part of the Summer Course "Scenes of the History of Lisbon: The Parish of Belém", promoted by the Portuguese Academy of History and the Parish Council of Belém.
