Classical Art Studies

2nd Cycle

This seminar aims to study the artistic expressions in Ancient Greece and Rome, namely architecture, sculpture, painting and decorative arts, inserting them in their historical context, in general (political, social and cultural), and religious, in particular. Special emphasis will be placed on comparative work between the written sources and the various artistic elements.
