Heritage and Cultural Tourism

 

2nd Cycle


Study of the potentialities and problems underlying the dynamic interaction between Heritage and Cultural Tourism. Highlight the importance of tourist exploitation of cultural heritage as a vehicle for the enhancement and dissemination of heritage diversity, but also as a means of generating wealth, employment and regional or national development, as well as the requirements of safeguarding the balance between heritage conservation and the interests of the tourism industry. The presentation of practical projects allows to demonstrate the complexity of the phenomenon of Cultural Tourism in the management of the various "places of memory" and distinguish it from Mass Tourism.
