Contemporary Theories of Restoration

2nd Cycle

This curricular unit aims to study, within a historical, cultural and artistic perspective, the modern theories of Restoration, in comparison with practice, both in Europe and Portugal, by taking into account the formulation of recommendations and principles, expressed in letters and statements, along with the evaluation of privileged case studies. Concepts will be discussed according to practical examples of action.
