ARTIS - Revista de História da Arte e Ciências do Património [Journal of Art History and Heritage Sciences] is an annual peer-reviewed publication focused on emerging themes related to Portugal´s artistic heritage, the heritage of Portuguese-speaking countries and the wider context of international art. The journal comprises a thematic and a miscellaneous section, including short articles such as book reviews, news of recent findings and research project updates, among others.

Although ARTIS-iHA is an academic unit, whose research emanates from the academic realm, it aims to disseminate artistic studies through a wide, multidisciplinary approach, and to welcome all of those interested in these topics, thereby responding to societal demands and fulfilling the true mission of the university.
