ARTIS-IHA funding
[ARTIS-IHA - Main Research Unit]
Description:
This project aims to catalogue the Portuguese tile patterns since the 15th century until now, offering to the scientific community a cataloging tool, based on a informatics data system, available online.
For this propose, a specific module was developped within the inventory system used by Az - InPatrimonium -, which is articulated with the module for tiles inventory in situ. This approach allows us to catalogue patterns and identify the locations where they were applied, in a knowledge systematization that may bring, in the future, important contributions and possibilities of analyses on manufacturing chronologies and application, colors, authors, etc.
