FCT | 7TH EDITION OF THE CALL "ESTÍMULO AO EMPREGO CIENTÍFICO INDIVIDUAL"

From 30 September to 29 November 2024 (until 17.00 (UTC))


ARTIS-IHA is available to host applications for the Call "Estímulo ao Emprego Científico Individual" (Individual CEEC) related to its main research areas: History of Architecture, Azulejo, Contemporary Art Studies, Decorative Art, Collectionism and Art Markets Studies, Intercultural Heritage.

Applicants should start by sending an e-mail with a description of the research they plan to develop, along with a cover letter and a detailed CV, to one of the coordinators of ARTIS' three research groups or of specific ongoing projects (please see the e-mail addresses artis@letras.ulisboa.pt). The deadline for this initial contact is 8 November 2024. The period for acceptance of the application by the principal contractor is until to 11 December 2024 (until 17.00 (Lisbon Time Zone - UTC)).

Objective: The CEEC programme aims to strengthen the national scientific and technological system by creating employment opportunities for doctoral researchers, promoting the formalization of scientific employment of PhD holders, helping to attract and retain qualified PhD holders in Portugal and to contribute to the rejuvenation of scientific institutions.

Individual CEEC contracts last up to 3 years and will be awarded, in this edition, according to two categories:
- Junior researcher: PhD holders for 5 years or less, counted as of the closing date of the application submission period, with reduced postdoctoral research experience in the scientific area to which they are applying;

- Assistant researcher: PhD holders at the closing date of the application submission period, with a relevant curriculum in the scientific area to which they are applying.

Applications must be submitted by filling out, in English, a specific form that can be accessed online on the myFCT portal.
