Masterclass with Jem Southam

Jem Southam, a world-renowned photographer, with work exhibited in galleries in Europe, the US and the UK, including the V&A Museum in London, will be in Portugal next May.
His visit to Portugal is sponsored by Atelier de Lisboa, which is organising in partnership with ARTIS-FLUL (Institute of Art History of the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon), a Masterclass with the photographer about his artistic work.
The session will take place in amphitheater III of the School of Arts and Humanities, next May 3rd, Tuesday, from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Entrance is free and open to the public.
This masterclass is part of Jem Southam's program of activities in Portugal, of which the Artist Residency in Serra do Açor, organised by Atelier de Lisboa in partnership with the Commission for Improvements of the village of Monte Redondo, in the municipality of Arganil, from the 4th to the 8th of May, stands out.
Jem Southam is one of the biggest names in English photography. His coming to Portugal is one of the important events to highlight in the area of photography, this spring, in Lisbon and in Serra do Açor.
