Marta Paulo de Almeida
Marta Paulo de Almeida is a PhD student at the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon, a researcher at ARTIS - Institute of Art History and a fellow at the Foundation for Science and Technology. Her research project is entitled O mobiliário medieval português: um ensaio de materialidade reconstruída (séculos XII a XV), under the guidance of Professor Doctor Luís Urbano Afonso.
Completed a degree in History of Art (2019) and a master's degree in History of Art and Heritage (2021), both from the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon. The dissertation topic was O mobiliário na iluminura medieval ibérica: séculos XII-XIV.
The research themes focus on Iberian medieval furniture insertedin the issues of material culture and human-thing entanglement.
Was a collaborator of São Roque ? Antiguidades e Galeria de Arte (2022) where she coordinated the exhibition Anjos e Lobos - Diálogos da Humanidade(2022) and respective catalogue.
