Luís Filipe Pinhal Ferreira


Graduated in History variant Archaeology by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Porto (1995), later in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Lisbon in History specialty Art, Heritage and Restoration, presented the master's thesis "From the stone to the chord. Proposal for valorisation in Sesimbra Castle (1992-2006)" (2007) and the doctorate "What future in these streets full of memories? The historical identity of urban space in European growth 2020. The case study of Sesimbra village" (2016). In 1996 joined the Municipality of Sesimbra where, till 2010, was historical and archaeological researcher, publishing studies and participating in museology and conservation projects. Since then, coordinate programs for European Cohesion Funding Programmes in territorial operations, inter-municipal groups and monitoring platforms, complementing his study in archaeology and rehabilitation of urban heritage, in terms of architectural and societal enhancement.
