Luís U. Afonso

Senior Associate Professor at the Faculdade de Letras (School of Arts and Humanities) of the University of Lisbon since 1997. Holds a BA (1995), an MA (1999), a PhD (2006) and an Agregação title (2017) in Art History. Published 12 books, as author or editor, and a hundred book chapters and academic papers. Researches topics related with Portuguese art (c.1350-c.1550), art markets, and hybridization processes in overseas art (c.1450-c.1600).
